The second-hand marketplace Members Express Displeasure Regarding Sizing Updates
Members of the platform have expressed outrage following a change that caused items being listed as the wrong size.
This online marketplace has altered its measurement guidelines for women's and children's clothes without notifying every member regarding the update.

Numerous buyers and vendors are expressing on platforms claiming that product pages now present an altered size classification than originally posted due to the recalibration.
Vinted explained the updated approach better aligns with similar services.
They have suggested members to check their listings and adjust the sizing manually where appropriate, causing user dissatisfaction.
Sizing System Changes
Previously, the sizing featured one number and one letter, such as S/8 or M/10.
The new system has a letter with a size spectrum like S/UK 8-10.
For certain items, the sizing has been recategorised - for example a size L used to be a 12 but is now a UK 16-18.
Shopper Experiences
A fashion influencer, who makes TikTok content about plus-size fashion, explained the modification "makes transactions more difficult".
"Few clothing companies classify XL as 20-22," as the platform currently indicates.
Stephanie Gallen, based in Glasgow, explained products she uploaded with size 14 tags were showing in the marketplace as measurements 20-22.
"If anyone [who is] size 20-22 buys them they may become frustrated," she said.
Necessary Adjustments
Charlotte Lunn, from Derby, stated she felt frustrated by the change as she had to manually change the sizing for "all her products".
"This situation is especially annoying, because of my ongoing medical condition and selling on Vinted has been paramount after experiencing income reduction," she said.
Marketplace Information
The platform boasts over 100 million members, including 18 million in the UK.
It has emerged as a preferred choice to second-hand platforms like eBay and Depop.
This isn't the first time where an unanticipated change on the platform has faced criticism: previously, Vinted reversed a change concerning shipment methods due to shopper criticism.
